Things You [May] Have On Hand

If you have chicken and a pineapple...
Sometimes my after-work energy level is lower than a Barry White melody. When that happens, all I want to do is shove food in my face as fast as I can before collapsing on the couch. But does that mean health has to go by the wayside? If I'm lucky and can conjure up just an ounce of inspiration, the answer is No. A healthy meal can be quick, without requiring any special trips to the market or hours searching for the perfect nutritional recipe.

Little Calorie wants to invite you to visit her newest department: Things You Have On Hand (notice the new link in the navigation bar to your left). In this section, I'll show quick, healthy recipes with ingredients that you (may) have on hand. I promise not to use anything too fancy or weird. I like the idea because I would find a resource like this very useful for those low-energy, uninspired days and evenings when I just want to eat - fast (but still low-calorie)! I hope you will like it too. It's also a good thing because I find great satisfaction in using up things in my refrigerator and cupboards. Check it out.
