Chris and I could very well measure 2010 in gas mileage, or time apart, or tests. In many ways that has been our 2010. But in many ways, our 2010 has been awesome, especially when we measure it in time together and non-test things, like vacation, laughter, and cups of coffee.

Over the years of writing a calorie-focused blog in my spare time and analyzing the nutritional value of foods and recipes for my day job, I've become pretty good at estimating the number of calories in anything. This skill became even more apparent when I was quizzing my hubster on the number of calories in things.

I had a good laugh, at Mr. Shafer's expense, but it also made me realize that a lot of people have no idea how many calories are crossing their lips.
Here are 6 foods that you may be surprised to learn are less than 180 calories.
2. Egg Drop Soup 2 cups contains 120 calories.
3. Burger King Onion Rings from the value menu contains 150 calories.
4. Breyer's Triple Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Bar 2.5 oz. bar contains 130 calories.
