Practice is CancelledLast Thursday, it rained ALL NIGHT LONG! It was raining when we went to bed and raining when we woke up the next morning. And, we were awakened throughout the night by the sounds of crashing thunder, the flash of bright lightning, and the constant dropping of relentless rain.
Can't Go This Way!

Now, four days later, there is still water everywhere. The businesses on Main Street have been pumping water out of their basements, all the rivers are swelling, and gravel roads have been washed away. I'm always amazed at the power of water to just go wherever it wants to go. The photo on the left shows a normally-grassy practice football field in Waverly.
